Our mission
Haiti is the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere. After the 2010 earthquake that killed over 200,000 people, education infrastructure was devastated. Many schools were never rebuilt, leaving entire communities without access to education.
Urgence Renouveau Haiti was born from this crisis. A group of Haitian diaspora and French supporters founded the association to ensure that children in the most underserved areas of Haiti could continue going to school.
Today, we support 4 community schools in four different regions:
- Ecole de Gaillard — Cayes-Jacmel (108 students, 8 teachers)
- ACNOS Blanchard — Cite Soleil, Port-au-Prince (100+ students)
- IMACNOS Lorobe — Hinche (63 students)
- College de Castache — Jeremie (116 students)
Our funding covers teacher salaries, school supplies, infrastructure projects, and school meals. We are a 100% volunteer association — every euro donated goes directly to the schools.
